Access to the airport is easy:

ACCESS BY CAR
To reach the airport by car one can choose two ways;  taking exit nº 30 off the M40 ring road or taking the adequate detour from the N-5, Extremadura road.  From Atocha Station and using the M-40 it takes about 7-10 minutes to get to the airport in normal traffic conditions.

There is free public parking inmediately opposite the Passenger Terminal. 

ACCESS BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
To reach the airport by public transport one can take buses nº483 and nº487 from Aluche Metro Station or bus nº486 from Oporto Metro Station. These bus routes have a stop next to the Airport, near the entrance to the Royal Airclub (Real Aeroclub).

It is also possible to call a taxi at any of the numbers of Madrid Radio Taxi (91 405 55 00 / 91 447 51 80 / 91 445 90 08 ). The approximate cost of the taxi ride from Atocha Station to the Airport is €12.
