TOUR 1 - MADRID & SURROUNDINGS
Our most economical excursion... We take off from the aerodrome heading West to fly over Boadilla del Monte. From here we can enjoy magnificent views of Madrid and observe the growth of the neighbouring towns, Pozuelo, Ciudad de la Imagen, Las Lomas, Majadahonda and Las Rozas which form part of our itinerary. Nearing the reservoir of Valmayor we head towards Brunete, famous for its battle.We shall overfly Villanueva del Pardillo and Villanueva de la Cañada where we can observe from the air the extensive installations of the Camilo José Cela University. Heading back to Madrid we approach the towns of Navalcarnero and Arroyomolinos where we will see the Xanadoo Shopping Centre famous for its indoor sky slope. Total duration: approx. 30-35 min. TOUR 2 - EL ESCORIAL & LOS CAIDOS
Our most popular route! We take off from the aerodrome heading West to fly over Boadilla del Monte. From here we can enjoy magnificent views of Madrid and observe the growth of the neighbouring districts, Pozuelo, Ciudad de la Imagen, Las Lomas, Majadahonda, Las Rozas y Villanueva del Pardillo which form part of our itinerary. We fly over the La Coruña road heading Northwest passing on our right Hoyo de Manzanares. Once we have left behind Torrelodones and Alpedrete we head west again to pass on our right The Valley of the Fallen with its Cross and afterwards the Escorial monastery. Awaiting us is the reservoir of Valdemayor famous for its surfing activities and for its crocodiles!. In the Summer months this reservoir is used by amphibian planes to collect water for the extinction of forest fires. An approach to the new Xanadoo Shopping Centre and we are back in Madrid. TOUR 3 - FLIGHT OVER THE LAKES
For nature lovers... We take off from the aerodrome heading West to flight over Boadilla del Monte and carry on to Valdemorillo. Awaiting us is the reservoir of Valdemorillo famous for its surfing activities and for its crocodiles! In the Summer months this reservoir is used by amphibian planes to collect water for the extinction of forest fires. Here we can see the Aulencia river as it flows into the Guadarrama . Our route will take us above the small villages on the Northwest of this region until we reach Navas del Rey where the international satellite tracking station is located. We then fly over the reservoirs of Picadas and San Juan which takes us to San Martín de Valdeiglesias municipality. With magnificent views of the beginning of Sierra de Gredos and Sierra de la Paramera we set course towards Navalcarnero and then back to Madrid. Total duration: approx. 50 min. BOARDING INSTRUCTIONS (IMPORTANT)

All our flights take off and land at Cuatro Vientos Airport, Madrid. The airport is well located and only 7 minutes away from Atocha Station using the M-40 ring road. See map

Boarding is via the Airports Passengers Terminal. Complying with Civil Aviation regulations in force, each passenger is required to be there at least 30 minutes before the time of departure to receive instructions about the security measures on the aircraft in which he/she is about to fly. A member of the ground staff or the pilot of AEROFAN will accompany the passengers to the aircraft.

All passengers are required to carry a photo ID such as: a national ID card, driving licence, passport etc. in case it should be requested by the airport authorities.

Youngsters under 16 are not allowed to fly unless accompanied by an adult. Children under 5 are not allowed to fly.

Smoking is forbidden on board our aircraft.

AEROFAN will not be held responsible for any possible changes on the time of our flights or change of itineraries due to weather conditions, maintenance or due to Air Traffic Control.

In the case of delays of more than one hour, AEROFAN offers the possibility of returning the whole cost of the ticket or changing the ticket for an identical one on another date.

INFORMATION OFFERED BY THE PILOT DURING THE FLIGHT

All our pilots are highly experienced and qualified. They have a wide geographical and historical knowledge of the scenic tours they fly. In each tour they will offer a detailed description of all places of interest. Any doubt or query will be attended to with pleasure.

RATING FOR PHOTOGRAPHS

Each air route has been classified taking into account the places of photographic interest.
QQQQQQThe ratings go from one minimum to six maximum. Our pilots will advise you of the suitable moment, best angle and position of the plane, to take that picture postcard photograph!

DURATION OF THE FLIGHT

The duration of the flight can vary due to weather or Air Traffic Control factors. The total duration of the flight includes time flying plus the time spent on the ground.

AEROFAN cannot guarantee the itinerary of a particular tour if due to air traffic or weather factors the pilot should decide to modify the tour.
